Our Shipping Department transports liquid commodities on Chemical tankers throughout the world. It handles a wide range of products from chemicals and vegetable oils to petroleum products in response to oil Majors and trader's needs.
With our state-of-the-art, medium-sized tankers we aspire to safe and reliable transportation with a high degree of flexibility.

The city of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is Europe's major hub for marine transport. Because intelligence pertaining to the trade is funneled into Rotterdam, we set up''SERROMAH SHIPPING B.V.'' here to serve as the seat of our cargo booking activities and to keep abreast of trends in the volatile marine transport industry.

In-House Training

On-Board Training
We entrust shipping management to a management company adaptable to ISM cord (for international safety standard) to ensure that safe shipping is retained, with our management group in the company’s main office. The management company conducts regular inspection of all the vessels and holds safety meetings regularly. For improving skills needed for safe shipping, we regularly conduct in-house training in South Korea and the Philippines and marine supervisor’s on-board training.
Double-Hull Structure of Vessels
If our tankers collides with other vessel or run aground on the sea, a lot of freight oil could be poured into the sea, causing serious marine pollution. When we made our first chemical tanker in 1989, we applied double-hull structure (vessel’s double hull makes its freight tub difficult to be damaged in marine accidents), and all our vessels retain this structure until now.
Prevention of Air Pollution
Our chemical tankers have special Friend Fins at the stern to effectively drive with energy-saving effect, lessening CO2, NOX, and SOX, and decreasing the burden on the environment. Also we use low-sulfurous fuel according to the MARPOL Protocol (MARPOL is short for marine pollution).
